Robin Project - A Disclaimer and a Request

OK, some basics!

Some of this may be old hat for many of you, but I'd like to start pretty much from scratch to make this blog interesting for the widest possible audience. So for those users who are more experienced, stay tuned! And you never know what you might pick up that's new.

Before we dive into it, here's a disclaimer: I've been using Notion with VSL for a couple of years now. I don't pretend to know everything, and there are a lot of users out there that know a great deal more than I do in terms of integrating VSL with Notion. I've never had any formal music training. What I know I've learned myself just trying to figure out how this stuff goes together.

What I'm planning to present in this blog are illustrations and examples of my own workflow developed over a couple of years. It's evolving and changing all the time. There are probably as many ways to integrate Notion with VSL (and other instrument libraries) as there are users. These are my techniques and my workflow. Are they the ultimate? Probably not. Are there people doing more and greater things? I'm certain of that!

And here's a request: I'm pretty thick skinned when it comes to criticism and I'd very much like to hear if there are better ways to do things. For example, one aspect of all this that I know very little about is audio engineering. I don't know my buss from a hole in the ground. ANY advice or education I can get in those regards (or any other) is greatly appreciated!
